Salon Policy
Please review our salon policies to ensure the best experience for every guest.
1. Satisfaction & Refund Policy
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns regarding your service, please inform your technician before leaving the salon so we have the opportunity to address the issue and make it right.
Due to the nature of salon services, all services are considered final once completed, and refunds are not provided.
2. Service Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work.
Qualifying gel, dip powder, builder gel, and acrylic services may be eligible for a complimentary repair within the applicable warranty period.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Lifting caused by improper aftercare
- Picking, biting, or misuse
- Repairs or modifications performed by another salon
Proof of service may be required. All warranty claims are subject to salon discretion.
3. Gift Card Policy
Gift cards and gift certificates are non-refundable and should be treated like cash.
They:
- Cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
- Must be presented at the time of redemption.
- May only be used toward salon services and products up to the available balance.
4. Health & Safety
To help ensure the safety of all guests, please inform your technician before your service if you have:
- Diabetes or poor circulation
- Fungal nail conditions
- Open cuts, wounds, or skin infections
- Allergies or sensitivities to salon products
- Pregnancy (if you have concerns regarding certain products or services)
- Any medical condition that may affect your service
Services may be modified or declined if a condition could compromise the health or safety of the guest, technician, or other clients.
5. Nail Conditions
For the health and safety of everyone, we do not perform cosmetic nail services on nails showing signs of contagious fungal infections or other infectious conditions.
Guests may be asked to seek medical treatment before receiving nail services.
Clients with diabetes are always welcome. Please notify your technician before your service so we can provide the safest and most appropriate care.
6. Child Safety
For the safety of all guests, children must remain under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
Children should not run, play, or be left unattended inside the salon.
The salon assumes no responsibility for injuries or accidents involving unsupervised children.
7. Pet Policy
- Only trained service animals are permitted inside the salon.
- To maintain a clean, safe, and allergy-conscious environment, pets are not permitted.
8. Salon Etiquette
To provide a relaxing experience for all guests, we kindly ask that:
- Mobile phones be kept on silent or low volume.
- Speakerphone conversations and video calls be avoided.
- Guests respect the privacy and comfort of others.
9. Appointment, Late Arrival & No-Show Policy
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Guests arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may have their service shortened, rescheduled, or canceled based on technician availability.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may require a deposit for future appointments.
10. Guest Conduct
We are committed to providing a respectful environment for both guests and staff. Star Nails reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone displaying:
- Abusive or disrespectful behavior
- Harassment
- Threatening behavior or violence
- Intoxication
- Any conduct that disrupts the salon experience
11. Pedicure Chair Usage
- Pedicure chairs are reserved exclusively for guests receiving pedicure services.
- Accompanying guests may not occupy pedicure stations.
12. Promotions & Discounts
- Cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
- Cannot be applied to previous purchases.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash.
- May exclude gift cards or select services.
13. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting the salon. Star Nails is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
14. Safety & Security
- Weapons and hazardous items are prohibited.
- Unauthorized animals are prohibited.
- Photography or video recording of staff or other guests without permission is prohibited.
15. Right to Refuse Service
Star Nails reserves the right to refuse service when:
- A requested service is deemed unsafe.
- A medical or nail condition could place anyone at risk.
- A guest fails to comply with salon policies.
- A guest behaves in a manner that threatens the safety, comfort, or well-being of others.
16. Pricing Policy
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Additional charges may apply for nail length, specialty shapes, intricate nail art, repairs, product removal, or other specialty services.
17. Payment Policy
We accept cash and major credit cards.
A processing fee may apply to credit card transactions where permitted by law. Cash payments qualify for our posted cash pricing.
